BUSINESS FIGHT CLUB APPROACH
Who we are
We are passionate change-makers focussed on helping all men stop and address the issues in their life that are holding them back from being their best. Our programs aren’t a one size fits all. They are designed to equip men with practical, real life self-discovery where every man's journey is his own to become the best version of himself - both personally and professionally.
What we do.
We support men in all areas of life through personalised coaching and mentoring programs that are tailored to suit the needs of the individuals and organisations we work with. We understand that everyone’s situation is different, and that is why we strive to go on a journey together and always meet the specific needs of those we work with so that positive outcomes are always achieved.
Why we do what we do
So many men today are stuck on the treadmill of life, working to get ahead, yet neglecting the things that matter most in their life. We provide men the strategies to find rest amongst the chaos, taking them on a journey of self-discovery to help decrease stress levels, allow men to live a life of control, create healthy lives and thrive in all areas.
Our point of difference
We don’t deliver one-size-fits-all programs, we are not a dedicated counselling service, we are not a mental health facility and we don’t prescribe ‘quick-fix solutions’. We are a multidimensional organisation that runs programs to help men be the best that they can be in all areas of their life.
Our team of experienced coaches will go on a journey with you to provide you with the help and support you need in order to overcome your struggles and be the best version of yourself. We understand that long-lasting positive change takes time, and that is why we have structured our programs over an extended period to ensure that old patterns of behaviour are broken, and new healthier habits are formed. We have a range of online and bespoke programs that can be designed for particular people & organisations.

EVIDENCE FOR THE BUSINESS FIGHT CLUB SOLUTION
According to research conducted by Hall & Partners on behalf of Beyondblue (2012), many men believe they have a lack of tools to express themselves or instigate conversations on mental health.
It was also evident that many men across the study were inclined to delay action of any kind until crisis point. They believed that there was a lack of social support and community connections that allowed them to openly talk about their struggles and adequately deal with the issues they are facing.
As a community we believe that it is vital that we provide more easily accessible programs for men where they can talk about the struggles they face, while also having access to the support services they require.
Many men are still hesitant and have difficulty talking about depression or anxiety at a personal level.
This is driven in part by the lack of clarity in understanding of depression and anxiety
However, there are other factors that are also driving this:
Fear or actual experience of stigma.
Need for control.
Lack of tools to express themselves or instigate conversations on mental health.
An absence of social support and community connections.
Educational experiences and academic skills to understand current mental health educational materials

PROGRAM MEASURMENTS
Our programs are Evidence Based Programs, where we measure the overall wellbeing of a program participant using the PERMAH Wellbeing Profiler, developed by Peggy Kern, University of Pensilvania.
Surveys are completed at the beginning of the program, throughout the program and at the end of the program. Enabling us to get a insight and understanding to each participants wellbeing outcome from our program.
We can compare measure demographics of participants according to age profile, completed level of education, location (metro or rural) etc.
The PERMAH Scale measure the following key wellbeing areas of a person:
P AND N = POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE EMOTIONS
Emotions are an important part of our well-being. Emotions can range from very negative to very positive, and range from high arousal (e.g., excitement, explosive) to low arousal (e.g., calm, relaxed, sad). For Positive emotion, the PERMA-Profiler measures general tendencies toward feeling contentment and joy. For Negative emotion, the Profiler measures tendencies toward feeling, sad, anxious, and angry.
E = ENGAGEMENT
Engagement refers to being absorbed, interested, and involved in an activity or the world itself. Very high levels of engagement are known as a state called “flow”, in which you are so completely absorbed in an activity that you lose all sense of time.
R = RELATIONSHIPS
Relationships refer to feeling loved, supported, and valued by others. Having positive relationships with others is an important part of life feeling good and going well. Other people matter! M = Meaning Meaning refers to having a sense of purpose in life, a direction where life is going, feeling that life is valuable and worth living, or connecting to something greater than ourselves, such as religious faith, a charity or a personally meaningful goal. Meaning provides a sense that life matters.
A = ACCOMPLISHMENT
Accomplishment can be objective, marked by honors and awards received, but feelings of mastery and achievement is also important. The Profiler measures subjective feelings of accomplishment and staying on top of daily responsibilities. It involves working toward and reaching goals, and feeling able to complete tasks and daily responsibilities.
H = HEALTH
Although not part of the PERMA model itself, physical health and vitality is another important part of wellbeing. The Profiler measures a subjective sense of health – feeling good and healthy each day.

OUR KEY DIFFERENCE - THE EDUCATION
One Key Difference of the Business Fight Club programs is that we are using our expert knowledge of how to educate men (especially young men) for the now.
As globalization and rapid advancements in technology continue to transform civic space and the world of work, education systems have grown increasingly disconnected from the realities and needs of global economies and societies. Education models must adapt to equip young men and women with the skills to create a more inclusive, cohesive and productive world.
We have built our Program and Education Platform to meet the real needs of men in todays world. We have removed any friction that may occurs when consuming our eduction on the programs.
By simplifying complex issues in relatable language and by making it easier for men to spend time reflecting on the issues, the testimonials and feedback on our educational model.
We understand the the way sensitive topics are communicated in todays society makes a huge difference to the way people consume that very information.
We believe the main power in any education program is the self discovery nature. As recognised in the World Economic Report, the days of sitting in a classroom and listening to the teacher speak at a student are long gone. With the use of technology, young people are learning in a whole new way.
Our users are after programs that are Personalised and self-paced learning: Move from a system where learning is standardised, to one based on the diverse individual needs of each learner, and flexible enough to enable each learner to progress at their own pace.
